Ajahn Sumano Bhikkhu, born in Chicago, studied law and developed an entrepreneurial business before letting everything go and embarking on a spiritual journey more than thirty years ago. It eventually led him to a Buddhist monastery in England and to Wat Nong Pah pong in Warin Chumrahp near Ubonrachathani Province, Thailand, the seat of one of his teachers, the late Ajahn Chaa.
